An amazing relaxed wedding in the small New Zealand town of Napier is where Bonita and Joe promised to spend the rest of their lives together. It's funny how different the light in New Zealand is to Australia in comparison. The pastel colours almost mimic California on a sunny day like this one and the greens just popped - a wonderful place to start a marriage!Read More

I couldn't help but feel the need to edit most of these photographs in black and white.. this whole day just screamed vintage beauty to me. It was an absolute pleasure watching Jasmine and Jason tie the knot to a love ten years in the making! It was a walk in the park, literally, and you could see the people they chose to celebrate their day with meant everything to them.. not to mention they all knew how to bust a move! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs and thank you SO much for having me be apart of your gorgeous day!Read More
People always ask me what happens when it rains on a wedding day and I feel like from now on I’m just going to show them these photos as the answer. Katie + Jacob are extraordinary. The first contact I had from Katie came all the way from Antartica where she and Jacob were working at the time - she joked about having to wait painfully for all the photos on my website to load and I couldn’t be happier she did.Read More
(CLICK TITLE TO VIEW) These two pulled off the best surprise EVER! A secret squirrel wedding. Not only was it classy and well organised but beautifully intimate. With a small group of their closest friends and family (who thought they were there to say bon voyage to the engaged couple…) on a rooftop in Brisbane city with the best brownie stack cake to ever be eaten is where they tied the knot. It was actually really exciting and nerve wracking to know that I knew what nobody else except the bride, groom, celebrant and MC knew but I think the jig was up when Katie blitzed everyone in her dress and somehow Romain had acquired a suit vest, not to mention the sudden appearance of an isle and celebrant. The way Katie nervously flicked her hair in front of her face during her vows and Romain’s expression when his wife walked down the isle was such a pleasure, privilege and joy to photograph. To the newlyweds - thank you, thank you, thank you!Read More
I knew when I first met Kel and Dan we would get along. Not only did they share my love for all things Disney but sheer excitement about their wedding day and what the future held. Anyone that says that wedding days shouldn't be soooo emotional can come and talk to me! It is a day specifically to celebrate how much you love one other soul that coincides with yours - how can you not be emotional!? Which is why when I showed up to Kelly's prep and she was so quiet, except for when she would suddenly burst into tears over even hearing Dan's name, I knew it was going to be a great day. Surrounded by the beautiful views of the Sunshine Coast hinterland and their closest family and friends (and also their gorgeous little son they share) it was a stunner of a wedding. A kick ass ceremony, followed by a lively reception and hilarious dance-off after party - this wedding also saw a lot of people tripping over... but we won't dwell on that... scroll down... It was such a pleasure to be apart of this little bit of Kel and Dan's happily ever after. All our love xxxRead More
(CLICK TITLE TO VIEW) Never was there a couple cuter than Maxine and her Thomas. In fair Brisbane, where we lay our scene, where one girl met a boy, destined to become husband and wife. Ok.. So I'm no Shakespeare, but I prefer to tell stories through images so no harm done there. Having met at a young age and after some light stalking by Maxine at a Relay for Life event, Tom was helpless to her South African charm. It was at the beautiful winery, Sirromet, where they decided to seal the deal and what a fantastic day it was. Safe to say these two are possibly the most genuinely kind hearted couple I have ever met and I'm so thankful to have been apart of there day. All my love guys! P.S I agree with Maxine that you can put fruit in your salads, especially Mango and Strawberry! All my love xRead More
High school sweethearts Nathan and Haylee tied the knot just over two weeks ago at the gorrrrgeous Victoria Park golf course in Brisbane, which is soon becoming one of my favourite venues, and one I have some exciting news to share with a bit later down the track... But, right now, it's all about these two!! As I said, having met in high school over good old MSN (ahhh man.. MSN), and an exchange of a sweater, Haylee gave 'that kid with the fro' a chance and here we are years down the track, husband and wife, not to mention their adorable fur baby Milo. Keep an eye out in the photos for me and also see if you can pick which one photo was taken by a guest. To the newlyweds, thank you so much for having me and I hope you enjoy your first sneak peak.. P.S Mumma Schroder, I hope you also enjoy the photos... I made sure that their heads are visible in almost all of them. ;)Read More
(CLICK TITLE TO VIEW) Let me set the scene… Victoria Park Golf Complex… A beautiful winters day… Two lovers and one mystery. A missing packet of muffins, accompanied by a stolen box of the Aussie classic, Tropical Fruit Punch juice. **Cue NCIS music** Oh, and these guys married the hell out of each other! Meet Cassie and Allan from Brisbane. These two were absolute hilarious fun mixed with some of the sweetest moments I've ever captured. Not to mention how awesome they have been through the entire process. Mr. and Mrs. Smith it was an absolute pleasure to be apart of your day, Matt and I thank you for having us and cannot wait to see where life takes you both.Read More
(CLICK TITLE TO VIEW) I don't like to say I have favourites but if I did, these two would be up there... Photographing a fellow photographers wedding is honour enough but being asked to photograph it in Canada is next level. I'm also lucky enough to call these two legends friends. I remember Ryan telling me he was moving back to Canada and that he had a girl he was interested in.. a childhood crush named Kylie. Let's just say I wasn't too surprised when he told me they were engaged because he had told me years prior he would marry her 'one day'. Oh, and did he ever! A beautiful venue sits somewhere between Dehli and Waterloo in Canada (I say this because I'm obviously NOT Canadian), called 'Cranberry Creek Gardens' which is where these two tied the knot. If you can't tell from the photos, it was spectacular, like I'm talking chin on floor, drooling everywhere spectacular. As always, I'll let the photos speak for me... but seriously, spectacular. To Ryan and Kylie, thank you for having us document your wedding, we love you guys. :) xRead More
Two beautiful people who met at work and fell in love over paperwork and tax.
When I first met these two lovely women over hot chocolate's and coffee I instantly knew their wedding would be awesome fun. Between Kim's Game of Thrones cufflinks to Lauren's 'Proud to Be' rainbow connies, every detail was tailored to them personally and done so well. When I got the initial email regarding photography from these two beautiful souls however there was one line that stuck out, "as long as you are comfortable with a same sex commitment ceremony?" I found it surprising that in this world there would possibly still be people who are against it and after spending the day with these two, I can assure everyone who is reading this that their coming together was just as true and wonderful as any other wedding day I've ever photographed - possibly more. Kim and Lauren, THANK YOU for having myself and Carmen on such a special day for you both. I think you know how much fun we had due to the fits of laughter and such. We wish you all the best for the future, now hurry up and check out your photos!!
(CLICK TITLE TO VIEW) What do you get when a hilariously cheeky Swedish man meets a gorgeous down to earth Australian girl? One hell of a couple!
Tegan and Fred set their date to be wed in April this year so Fred's family could fly over and join in on the festivities along with Tegan's family and their closest friends. With a small intimate ceremony, conducted by the wonderful Annie Grace on the beach at Scarborough, the setting suited them perfectly - laid back and relaxed. The entire day was possibly the most relaxed and care free wedding I have ever photographed. These two absolutely rocked it in front of the camera and let their love for each other do its thing. Nothing was forced or uncomfortable which is because that is how their relationship is, natural and easy. They also added in a little flare here and there with some intricate henna for Tegan which fit seamlessly. Tegan and Fred, I wish you all the happiness in the world and thank you for having me document this for you. Congratulations!
This. This day. This couple. This love. The moment I loaded up these images and started to look through them one of the first things that came to mind was the below quote. In these images, that couldn't be more true. I was fortunate to be referred to TimTam by one of their friends and feel privileged to be apart of their wedding day. For a number of reasons.Read More
(CLICK TITLE TO VIEW) From the moment I walked in to the girls prep and saw they were watching Harry Potter I knew it was going to be a good day...
Ali and Richard married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony, held by the wonderful Helen Mill at Ginninderry Homestead on the New South Wales border. With a Grandpa sporting a kilt, some of the cutest babies I've ever seen, mindblowingly good weather and a wicked dance floor these guys had everything right from the start. This is how you wedding! I have had the pleasure of knowing these two kids for a while now and I was splitting at the sides to photograph their big day. Both Ali and Richard are possibly the most giving people on this earth, not to mention hilarious and generous. I loved watching them interact on the day, the little glances were painfully cute to photograph, refer to below photos for proof. All in all, they didn't let the pressure of the day detract from what it was all about, their love for one another. Ali and Richard, may your Potter marathons be long, your kitten buying habbits continue and your love for each other be eternal (As I'm sure it will be). From the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you, for everything.
