MONICA + PAUL
NORTHSHORE HARBOUR (EAT STREET) WEDDING
These guys.. what liars! This is a snippet from one of the very first emails I got from Monica + Paul in regards to their wedding photography. “We're not overly lovely dovey and all this romantic stuff pumped on ‘Instagram’ etc just doesn't really seem to suit us..” Now.. not only did these two totally rock every one their photos with little to no direction from me but the bloody legends got their bridal photos done at Eat Street Markets!! And.. from one foodie to another, anywhere that sells more than one kind of Pizza is A-OK with me!
Their wedding was during that weekend where Mother Nature didn’t know what she was doing! Luckily the rain held off and we were able to still have the ceremony outside at Northshore Harbour! Surrounded by not only their family and friends but their two little ones - Laura and George - these two tied the knot! Nothing fazed them and they did their wedding exactly how they wanted it! Paul was even at the bridal prep to my surprise.. poor guy, the first thing I said to him was, “What are you doing here!?” Sorry Paul! But again, doing things their way and they owned it which I don’t think you can ask for more!
To Mon + Paul.. thank you so so so much for having Kaitlin and I be part of your day! It was such a fun time running around the crowds in Eat Street but more than that I’m thankful for how easy going you both were.. especially when realising that yes, in theory, buying a meter high bright blue fairy floss stick is a great idea in reality not so much, because in humid/rainy weather it will melt, and yes, it will get everywhere.
It has been such a pleasure to get to know you as a family and I’m so thrilled for what is to come for you! Congratulations!!
